Remember the days gone by when you would drive us ( me and Anne) to Bingo at Berko each week. Then you’d go home and drive back to Berko to pick us up. I was a teen then I am now 64 😀. And all the times I would visit your house and end up staying for tea. You lived by the bus stop then on overdale rd. and you had your market stall in chesham car park on Saturday and Wednesday selling female clothes. Then you got a shop on greenway parade to sell the clothes instead. I have many happy memories of being friends with you and Anne back then, then years later when Shelley rd flats were first built i got given one next door to your second wife trudis dad what a coincidence. We were some of the first tenants in those flats and believe it or not they were great homes but not so great now I heard. You were an inspiration to everyone you met and knew.
